In Ireland we need to appreciate our uniqueness
It also brings us, as we tell the story of Ireland at Ár bhfréamhacha, to an understanding of the unconscious forces that drive and motivate us. We will be carrying, at one level, great energy and power from them; we will also be carrying baggage from our historical past. It is in our modern day best practice for us to connect these together to become more conscious, to become more aware, so that we can place the good things from the past into our future and continue to build ourselves as a nation that is healthy, strong and also united. We need to understand ourselves at different levels.
To appreciate our uniqueness
Every country is unique to itself, as is every culture. For us in Ireland we need to appreciate our uniqueness, so that together, with the rest of the people and the nations of the earth, we are able to share what we have and hear what others have to say.
We need self-examination and reflection upon how we see ourselves in the days in which we live. In this self-reflection we need to be honest, and we need to look at the unconscious and the subconscious and the archetypical forces from our mythology, history and images that motivates us and continues to recreate us.
We need to integrate our image of our God, our perception of eternity and the role that we play in life and the role that we play in the world. To renew always our institutions and the collective forces and powers that both control and protect us and to continue to see them in the light of reason of faith and the environment.
“share what we have”
Ár bhfréamhacha continues to work at this particular aspect in a very acute and real way. Ár bhfréamhacha continues to develop ourselves individually as Irish people both at home and abroad, and Ár bhfréamhacha fosters everything that is ours in the light of our history and our dreams.
